Meet Our Pastor
Kevin Bishop
We moved here from Airdrie, AB in the Fall of 2023. I was born and raised in Kamloops, BC but have paternal roots in the Sault area. A lifelong Free Methodist, I have held many Associate Pastor positions (youth, worship, and kids) in western Canada. Hillside is my first Lead Pastor position (and yes, it feels strange to be a 50+ year old "rookie").
I love the Montreal Canadiens, Coca-Cola, and Pino's maple bacon donuts (there's a story behind that last one). Most of all, I love to come alongside people to help them love God and love each other.
You'll find Lorilee singing when she's not working from home (you'll probably even find her singing while she's working), Jackson getting his hands dirty in the auto shop at White Pines, and Oliver throwing a football around with his friends.
We are so blessed to call Sault Ste. Marie home and the people at Hillside FMC our family!
Meet Our Board
The Board is voted from among the membership of Hillside FMC and is entrusted to care for the policies, procedures, and finances of our church. They also work alongside the Lead Pastor to set the vision and mission of HFMC.
